Updates to the Synctera Console
Restricted access to cases when using Synctera Ground Control
If you are using Synctera Ground Control for compliance and operational support, you will now be restricted from acting on KYC/KYB, fraud, and anti-money laundering cases. This helps prevent confusion about roles and responsibilities, while still allowing you to have visibility into cases related to your program.
New “Cases” sub-tab on the Customer tab
We added a new “Cases” sub-tab on the Customer tab to list all cases about the customer.
New Remote Deposit Capture case type
Operations teams can now review and decision cases related to failed attempts to deposit paper checks. Check deposits may fail due to image quality, the amount in the image not matching the amount entered in the API, or for other reasons.
Other updates
We made a number of enhancements to the Console, including displaying account relationships for authorized signers and users and moving linked accounts to a side panel.
Description field for restricted accounts
We added a description field for restricted accounts. This field is now displayed in both the case to review and on the application details view. The description field can be used to help differentiate applications from the same person or business. It can also be used to identify different locations or other attributes unique to the application.
Updates to error codes
We’re cleaning up our error response object and adding enums to our open API schema. This will enable you to do an enum compare instead of string compare when error handling.
Additional documentation for External Cards
We expanded our developer documentation for our External Cards object (an External Card on the Synctera platform represents a tokenized debit or credit card with which you may perform transactions). The expanded documentation includes: API Reference docs, API Guide, and Widget Guide. This documentation allows you to start your integration work and test in Sandbox.
