May 2025 Product Update
June 12, 2025

In May, our product and engineering team focused on improving how data is stored and accessed, enabling users of the Synctera Platform to easily view the information they need to manage day-to-day operations and maintain effective oversight.
These updates include:
- Launching the Bank Resource Center
- Enhancing visibility into end-user account balances
- Improving ACH fraud cases
- Simplifying access to data within Synctera Insights
While this update doesn’t cover everything we’ve released, it highlights some of the most impactful updates we’ve made this month. Let’s dive in!
Better Document Storage with the Bank Resource Center
For a bank’s BaaS program, maintaining up-to-date policy and procedure documentation is central to gaining alignment across the organization on internal policies and workflows. Banks define their own internal policies and procedures specific to their BaaS program. On top of that, each FinTech partner they onboard brings unique documentation specific to their business.
Within the Synctera Console, we just launched the Bank Resource Center, providing Synctera’s bank partners with a centralized platform for all policy and procedure documentation.
Synctera’s bank partners can upload and easily retrieve the documents they need to provide to regulators or to share internally. Additionally, the Bank Resource Center provides a section for banks to store all of their policy and procedure templates that can be provided to their FinTech partners during the onboarding process.
This new feature in the Synctera Console further enhances the Synctera Platform’s ability to be a bank’s single source of truth for all BaaS program data.

Enhanced Visibility into Running Account Balances
In the Accounts tab of the Synctera Console, operations and customer support personnel can view all transactions that occur on any given account. Previously it wasn’t immediately clear what the account balance was at the time of the specific transaction, requiring manual calculations when trying to determine why specific transactions failed.
To reduce the manual effort involved for these types of investigations we’ve added a running balance column to the list of transactions, providing a view into the entire balance history as transactions occur. This makes it clear what the account balance was at the time of transaction, allowing the operations personnel to immediately verify if the account balance was the reason for the transaction failing and communicate this to the end-user.

Improving Fraud Cases for Future-Dated ACH Transactions
A future-dated ACH transaction is a scheduled payment that is set to be processed on a specific date in the future. This functionality is commonly used for bill payments or other recurring transactions.
Synctera’s Fraud system checks all transactions at the time of initiation, including future-dated ACH transactions. Previously, Fraud Cases created due to a future-dated ACH transaction triggering an alert would be lacking key transaction details that weren’t yet available from the transaction record (since the transaction didn’t technically exist yet).
We’ve now updated how our system processes these Cases to ensure that when a Fraud Case is created for a future-dated ACH transaction, all transaction details are still readily visible within the Case view itself. The result is a more efficient fraud investigation and a reduced possibility of manual error.
Greater Data Accessibility in Synctera Insights
Synctera’s data team has been busy this month launching a variety of new features that make it easier for our customers and bank partners to quickly access the data they need.
Subscribe to Specific Synctera Insights Dashboards
Within Synctera Insights, users now have the ability to set up a subscription to any report or dashboard that they would like to receive on a recurring basis.
The user is able to configure the timing and frequency of the subscription. For example, they may want to receive an account opening report on a weekly basis to track account growth. Additionally, they can have this report automatically sent to an email address or posted in Slack.

Re-vamped Synctera Insights Homepage
We’ve continuously refined the Synctera Insights homepage experience to make key reports as easy to access as possible. Based on learnings we’ve received from our customers and bank partners, we just launched a new homepage navigation that provides users across functional areas the ability to quickly find the data relevant to their role.
This new homepage structure breaks down the key dashboards by both function area and product.
We are always looking for ways to improve the structure of Synctera Insights so if you have any feedback please reach out to your customer success manager.
