New money movement capabilities
Synctera Instant Account Funding
You can now add Instant Account Funding to allow your customers to ‘pull’ funds from their payment card to instantly fund their account.
Synctera Instant Push to Card
You can now add Instant Push to Card to allow your customers to do an instant ‘push’ of funds from their account to any payment card.
Updates to Synctera Cases
Support for Watchlist Match cases for businesses
Businesses that have a watchlist hit as part of ongoing monitoring will now trigger a “Watchlist Match” case creation for review by banks in Synctera Cases.
Improved search functionality
You can now search for active or closed cases based on the last updated date of cases.
Platform updates
Support for more personal identifiers
Synctera now supports a broader set of personal identifiers. In addition to social security number (SSN), we also now support social insurance number (SIN), individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN), and passport number.
More specific account statuses
Customer accounts can now be designated “Freeze” or “Suspend.” “Freeze” is intended to be a customer-initiated action, whereas “Suspend” is initiated by you, your sponsor bank or Synctera Operations due to fraud or risk. You cannot unsuspend a customer who has been suspended by a bank or Synctera.
Updates to External Accounts resource
You can now specify a wire routing number for manually verified external accounts.
Faster statement generation
Statements are now consistently generated on the first day of the month immediately following the FinTech’s sponsor bank’s EOD cut-off time.
ACH updates
Designating company name when sending an ACH
You can now choose the company name when sending an ACH. There is a new field in the Send ACH API called company_name. This is important for business FinTechs; the ACH can be sent under the business FinTech name by choice.
Synctera Insights updates
New version of Metabase
Synctera Insights runs on Metabase, and we recently updated Synctera Insights to the latest version of Metabase, which gives us new date time functions as well as improvements to model definition and certain chart types.
New information in My Data Transactions table
We now include merchant category code (MCC), description and cleaned/normalized Merchant Name in the My Data Transactions table.
Great FinTech apps get built and scaled on Synctera’s end-to-end platform.
