Updates to the Synctera Console
Search by email address
You can now search for customers by email address on the Cases tab.
Full KYC verification history
On the KYC sub-tab of the Customers tab, you can now see the entire history of KYC verifications performed.
Displaying metadata
On the Customers and Accounts tabs, you can now see metadata that’s been associated with the customer or account. For example, you can now see an ID that maps to your internal systems.
Updates to Synctera Insights
End-to-end updates
We’re delighted to announce the new version of Synctera Insights, our world-class customer self-service dashboarding and analytics tool. In this new release we’ve:
- Updated the look and feel
- Vastly improved performance
- Added key features such as report customization, data download, alert creation, and email report delivery
New “My Data” dashboard
Our customers can now access detailed line-level information for their own in-browser analytics or for download and subsequent analysis here.
Updates to Documents API
Associating a document with accounts
You can now associate a document with accounts - for example, a POS transaction list for compliance purposes.
Encrypting and restricting access to documents
You can now specify that a document should be encrypted and access restricted. For example, this is useful if a customer is uploading a document that contains social security numbers.
Update to Internal Accounts API
Categorizing internal accounts
You can now categorize and query for internal accounts by purpose and type. For example, you can categorize an internal account as a “Fee” type with a purpose of “Profit and Loss.” This simplifies finding the appropriate internal account for transfers.
Update to webhooks
Reducing the retry period and keeping events longer
We’re reducing the retry period from 14 to 5 days and increasing the duration we keep events in our database from 14 days to 60.
