Introducing External Accounts Balance and Transactions
FinTechs can now connect their External Account via Plaid on the Synctera Console. This enables FinTechs to link their Operational and Reserve accounts that they hold at the sponsor bank and view the balance and transactions directly within the Synctera console.
Enhancements to case notifications
Cases email notifications will now also include updates of comments or new file attachments.
Additional card transaction information added
We have improved the granularity of declined card transactions, including the reason for the declined transaction. This provides FinTechs better visibility into and deeper understanding of their transaction data.
3 new shipping methods to the Issue Card endpoint
We added 3 new shipping methods to the Issue Card endpoint:
- LOCAL_PRIORITY -> USPS Priority (2-3 business days)
- INTERNATIONAL_PRIORITY -> UPS Worldwide Saver
- INTERNATIONAL_GROUND -> UPS standard (note; only available for Canada and Mexico)
Unless the FinTech has requested a default shipping method (set with a card fulfillment provider), the FinTech can use these methods, in addition to existing ones, when issuing a physical card.
Enhanced rule-based controls for ACH transactions
FinTechs that use the ‘zero-balance’ account model can now control inbound ACH debits and accept or decline the ACH Debit based on the FinTech rules.
Inbound future-dated ACH Webhook notification added
Synctera has a new webhook type [ACH.INCOMING.FUTURE_DATED]. FinTechs can subscribe to this event to get notified when an inbound future dated ACH has arrived for one of their customers. This transaction will be posted on its effective date.
Related fraud cases now shown in transaction details UI
When a fraud case is opened for a transaction, now the user can see the fraud case linked to the transaction in the transaction details UI.
Forced post transaction flag in UI
When a transaction is forced post by the card network, or by an OPS agent in the case of internal transfers and ACH, the ‘forced post’ flag and message is available in the UI for the user.
Updated Spend Controls
Account-level Spend Controls can now be set for the following card subtypes:
- ATM withdrawals
- Cashbacks
For now, controls/rules on this level can be created through the Spend Control API, but will later be available through the Synctera Console.
Great FinTech apps get built and scaled on Synctera’s end-to-end platform.
