Updates to Synctera Cases

We updated our Customer Alert and Watchlist Match case types to show more detailed information about watchlist hits and how they relate to the customer in question. Users can now view the name of the watchlist, the matched fields, and the offense that led to the customer being added to the watchlist. A link to the watchlist is also included.

Additionally, all case types in Synctera Cases have been updated to allow users to set multiple individual default assignees.

Automatic enrollment in Watchlist Monitoring for all end customers

By default, all of our FinTech customers’ end customers will automatically be enrolled in daily watchlist monitoring to check on an ongoing basis if they get added to any watchlists. After retail customers complete KYC, they will be enrolled in Synctera KYC Watchlist Monitoring. Business customers will be enrolled in Synctera KYB Compliance and Risk Monitoring after they complete KYB.

Easier participation in the authorization flow for debit card transactions

In April of this year, we added an authorization gateway to Synctera Debit Card that enables FinTechs to participate in the funding request decision of a card transaction’s authorization cycle. Through the gateway, a FinTech can approve or decline a transaction based on their own business logic. Previously, FinTechs had to request that Synctera configure this gateway for them. Now, FinTechs can configure it themselves via API. For more details, see the API Guide.

New ACH return codes on Transaction tab

For returned ACH transactions, operations teams at FinTechs and their partner banks can view the ACH return codes and click on the returned transaction to navigate to the original transfer.

More enhancements to developer workspace

We continued to improve our developer workspace, where users can get access to demo apps, directly schedule meetings with Synctera staff, and start filling out their profile forms to get early feedback from banks.
